The Pretech SOM and Carrier Board RK3588S is a high-performance solution featuring the RK3588S SoC with an octa-core 64-bit architecture, including 4 x Cortex-A76 at 2.4GHz and 4 x Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz. It includes a Mali-G610 MP4 GPU and a 6.0T NPU, supporting Android and Linux (Debian) operating systems. The board has 4G/8G RAM and 64G/128G ROM. It supports 8K@60fps H.265/VP9/AVS2, 8K@30fps H.264 AVC/MVC, 4K@60fps AV1, and 1080P@60fps MPEG-2/-1/VC-1/VP8 video decoding. Display interfaces include DUAL-LVDS (1920x1080), EDP (1920x1080/3840x2160), MIPI (2560x1600), HDMI (up to 8K@60Hz), and DP1.4 Output via Type-C. Connectivity options include 1000M/100M/10M Ethernet with POE, Dual-Band WIFI6, BT5.4, NFC, and USB interfaces (Type-C/OTG3.0, 1USB3.0, 3USB2.0). It also features 2-channel UART-TTL, 2 I2C interfaces, RGB-LED or 4-channel PWM/GPIO, button interfaces (PWR/Volume +/-/RST), Bluetooth Speaker, MIC Input, Headphone Jack, and Speaker Jack (up to 2 x 4Ω 10W Speakers). Power supply options include DC-12V@2-5A, POE, and BAT-12V. It includes an RTC with scheduled power on/off settings and supports secondary development with API interface documentation provided.
